Termidor HE Barrier and Active Termite Treatment, Dean Park
A termite-management project combining treatment of active termite areas with a Termidor HE barrier to accessible subfloor and external perimeter zones.
Supporting photos from Goliath field work
These genuine Goliath field photographs were selected to match the treatment method and property conditions discussed in this project.

What shaped the treatment plan
- Active termite areas required treatment before the longer-term management system was completed.
- The property included accessible subfloor areas as well as external perimeter sections requiring different application methods.
- The treatment scope needed to account for foundation walls, piers, concrete and soil areas where accessible.
How the project was approached
- Treated active termite areas using an appropriate registered termite treatment method.
- Installed a Termidor HE chemical barrier using drilling and injection to suitable concrete areas and trenching or soil treatment where applicable.
- Treated accessible subfloor foundation walls and piers where required and documented the installed system.
What this project demonstrates
This project demonstrates why active termite control and long-term protection are treated as separate but connected stages. The accessible subfloor, concrete and soil perimeter areas required different application methods, so the barrier scope was built around the construction rather than applying one technique everywhere.
Ongoing management matters
The termite-management system is supported by regular inspections. An annual termite inspection is required to maintain the applicable warranty conditions.
