Active Termite Eradication and Barrier Program, Prestons
A two-part termite project that first addressed active termite areas and then established a longer-term chemical barrier around the property.

These genuine Goliath field photographs were selected to match the treatment method and property conditions discussed in this project.

What shaped the treatment plan
- Active termite activity required targeted treatment before the preventive barrier stage.
- The property needed a management plan that separated immediate termite control from longer-term protection.
- Concrete and soil perimeter sections required different treatment techniques.
How the project was approached
- Treated active termite locations using a targeted termite-management approach.
- Installed a chemical termite barrier to the accessible perimeter using drilling, injection, trenching or soil treatment as required by the site.
- Recorded the completed work and identified ongoing inspection requirements.
What this project demonstrates
This project separates the immediate problem from the longer-term management plan. Active termite areas were addressed first, then the accessible perimeter was treated using the installation method suited to each concrete or soil section.
Ongoing management matters
After active termite treatment and barrier installation, regular inspection remains essential. Annual termite inspection is required to maintain the applicable barrier warranty conditions.
